Pictures of Students

We are only allowed to publish pictures of students if we have permission from the families. This permission is part of your beginning-of-the-year paperwork.
If you have not seen your child's picture, it is because we have records that you requested your child's photo NOT to be published.
If you would like to change this choice, please send a note in your child's backpack, and we will gladly send the form home again for you to update!

About Me

Mrs. McDowell
I got married in May 2007 to my husband, Brian. I then moved to Lexington for my husband's job and to finish my education. I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in December 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Kindergarten. I first started teaching in 2009 and I taught 4th grade in Lexington. I made the switch to kindergarten last year and I absolutely love it! This is my second year at the Village and I could not ask for a better place to work. I feel very blessed to have your child in my class. Not many people can come home with a funny story every day and be able to simply say, "I love my job!"
